ATLANTA-  After winning its sixth national championship, Brigham Young is the unanimous choice atop the MCLA Division I New Balance Coaches Poll.

The Cougars (20-1) collected all 21 first-place votes after defeating Virginia Tech 16-13 in the championship game.

The Hokies (16-2), who advanced to their second national championship game before falling to the Cougars, are ranked second.  

Utah Valley  (17-2) finished third after reaching at least the semifinals for the third straight season.

Florida State (16-3), the other semifinalists, finished fourth after winning their first conference title in 15 years.

Tennessee (14-5) rounds out the top five.
