NASHVILLE -- It looked like Grand Valley State was in big trouble last Saturday, trailing St. John's, 7-2 at halftime, but the Lakers made a spirited comeback to down the Johnnies, 12-11. Erik Sundstrom led the way for GVSU with four goals and an assist while Seth Kuehnl scored the game-winner with 14 ticks left in regulation.
Ryan Nelson had 16 saves for St. John's.
Photographer Dave Montgomery captured the action for a gallery on MCLA.us.
