TUCSON, Ariz. -- In one of the better rivalry games in the MCLA, No. 14 Arizona State won a grinding affair against No. 7 Arizona, 9-5, on Saturday night. With the win, ASU (6-5) grabs the second seed out of the SLC South division while Arizona (7-4) was eliminated from the league tourney.
Patrick Haviland led the Sun Devil offense with three goals while Adam Beauchamp chipped in with three assists. Johnny Perlite made 11 saves in the net.
