ATLANTA – St. Thomas put together an undefeated season that included Saturday’s finals victory at the 2016 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour and the Tommies were rewarded with five players on the first team All-American squad, which was released on Monday.

Attackman Sean Hickey, midfielder Simon Gondeck, long-stick middie Pat Mines, faceoff specialist Erik Thysse and defenseman Alex Bement all found a home on the first team.

National runner-up Grand Valley State placed three players on the top squad while Grove City, Kennesaw State, North Dakota State and Concordia-Irvine each had a pair of representatives.

There were three teams and an honorable mention list in Division II this year. The players were nominated by their conferences and selected by a committee.
