ORANGE, Calif. -- They met last year in the last game of the season, and now top-seeded St. Thomas and No. 5 Grand Valley will meet in the first Division II semifinal of the 2017 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour at Chapman University on Thursday morning.

The two teams also met during the regular season with the Tommies edging the Lakers, 9-5, in a game played outside Chicago.

St. Thomas will be seeking its seventh appearance in the finals while Grand Valley State is eyeing its fifth.

Game is scheduled to being at 11 a.m. PDT.
