ATLANTA – After spearheading the Texas A&M offense in a pair of wins – including a victory over No. 23 Texas – sophomore attackman G.W. Bodden has earned MCLA Division I Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour for the period ending Feb. 4.

Bodden and the Aggies opened the weekend against Arkansas and Bodden struck for three goals and a pair of assists, leading A&M to a 16-6 triumph.

The San Antonio product followed that up Sunday by racking up a hat trick against the nationally-ranked Longhorns along with an assist as the Aggies pulled off the 14-11 upset in Austin.

In total, Bodden netted six goals and dished out three helpers in the two games.

“G.W. played well start to finish, setting up his teammates and, when the opportunity was right, scoring,” said Texas A&M coach Tony Scazzero. “They knew he was coming and he found a way to get the job done for our team. I was impressed with G.W. and our team’s effort this weekend.”

For his efforts in earning the Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour, Bodden will receive a new Under Armour Command Head – a $100 value. Under Armour is the proud sponsor of the MCLA.
