UMLC D-I: All-Conference Accolades

MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota juniors Amar Batra and Mitch Grengs were tabbed as the Upper Midwest Lacrosse Conference (UMLC) Division I Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively, after the all-conference awards were announced on Saturday.

Batra and Grengs were joined on the UMLC first team by Golden Gopher senior midfielder Malik Ekpenyong

Missouri posted a league-high four players on the first team while Tiger coach Nick Anagnostis was chosen as the UMLC Coach of the Year.

Purdue freshman Brad Buckland earned Rookie of the Year honors and second team kudos.
