ATLANTA – After a grueling first three rounds of the 2020 MCLA Virtual Tournament presented by New Balance, we’re finally down to the final four in each division.

Despite the SELC looking like a power conference in the early stages of the D-I tournament, it’s the CLC that has sent two teams to the semifinals.

No. 29 Pittsburgh knocked off Texas in the quarters to advance while No. 11 Boston College dispatched with Clemson.

The Panthers will go up against the sole remaining SELC rep in No. 32 Tennessee, who became the first program to put the clamps on Buffalo.

The Eagles draw No. 23 Minnesota, who outlasted Florida State in the quarters.

The Division II semifinals features a pair of conference matchups.

In the highest-seeded clash, a pair of UMLC heavyweights will go toe-to-toe. No. 9 St. John’s faces No. 5 Dayton to send one talented team to the finals.

On the other side of the bracket, a pair of SELC Sunshine State rivals square off. No. 19 Florida Atlantic battles No. 15 Florida Gulf Coast in a contest that should have occurred on April 4 with the SELC Coastal top seed on the line.

The semifinal competitions will rollout shortly with a coveted shot at the title awaiting the winners.
