LSA D-III All-Conference Picks

May 11th, 2020 General News | HSU | Houston | Incarnate Word | St. Edward's | Trinity

DALLAS – Despite the cancelation of a large part of the season and the 2020 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, the Lone Star Alliance (LSA) has chosen to announce its Division III all-conference selections this spring.

St. Edward’s led the way in the LSA-III picks, grabbing nine of the 13 spots on the all-conference first team and 16 overall.

Hilltopper senior defenseman David Sammon was recognized as the Defensive Player of the Year.

Houston placed a pair of players on the first team, including senior attackman Jakob Doxey, who was also named the Offensive Player of the Year and the Most Valuable Player.

Incarnate Word’s freshman attackman Cody Trevino was chosen as the conference Rookie of the Year while Tarleton State head man Matt Pate was tabbed the Coach of the Year.
