TAMPA, Fla. -- Week Two of the Division I SELC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for games played Feb. 14-20 goes to two players from bitter rivals.
Offensive Player of the Week
Riley Walker, Georgia, Junior Attack,
Walker put up a gaudy 13 points (6g, 7a) in two games against ranked opponents during the Dawgs’ trip to Colorado. His five goals and four assists helped propel Georgia to a 16-14 win over Colorado.
Defensive Player of the Week
Matt Corazon, Florida, Senior Goalie,
The senior captain netminder stopped 16-of-23 shots on goal (69.6%) and was excellent in the clearing game as the Gators rolled to an 11-7 win over a top-ten New Hampshire squad.
