ATLANTA -- The SELC Players of the week for games played March 7 - 13:
Raymond Raefski, South Florida, LSM
The sophomore transfer from Pleasantville, N.Y., continued to make his presence felt all over the field this past weekend. This time it would come against two Top 25 MCLA D-I teams -- No. 20 Florida State and No. 22 Northeastern. Raefski would combine for a goal, 17 ground balls, six caused turnovers, and a faceoff win.
Aaron Piszczek, Georgia Tech, FOS
The freshman from Glen Ellyn, Ili., was dominant over the weekend winning 27-of-30 faceoffs and scooping 19 ground balls. On Friday against Alabama, he kept feeding a hot Georgia Tech offense. On Saturday, he had another dominant performance against Tennessee giving a slow starting Tech attack extra opportunities to find their rhythm.
