SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – A quick start helped top-seeded UC Davis down UC Santa Cruz, 10-6, in the finals of the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL) Division II finals on Sunday at Dominican University.
The Aggies (10-4) will now await their postseason fate when the selection committee meets this evening. UC Davis is part of the at-large pool this spring.
Freshman long-stick middie Thomas Neill was named the game’s Most Valuable Player.
