FITCHBURG, Mass. – Boston College jumped out to a 4-1 lead to start the game and never looked back, defeating Northeastern, 13-9, and earning the Continental Lacrosse Conference (CLC) Division I title on Sunday afternoon.
With the victory, Boston College (10-2) earns an automatic qualifying berth to the 2023 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, which will take place from May 8-13 at the Round Rock (Texas) Multipurpose Complex. Tickets and live streaming for nationals can be purchased HERE.
Despite running into a hot Northeastern (11-5), the Eagles would not let the Huskies back into the game.
It’s the second straight CLC title for Boston College, which will be making its 13th appearance at nationals.
