TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona men's lacrosse program is pleased to announce the coaching staff for the 2024 season. A few familiar Wildcat faces continue with the program, while some talented newcomers have also joined the ranks.
"We searched thoroughly this off-season; seeking to add coaching talent to the staff," said Arizona coach Matt Blamey. "And now with the addition of a Division II team at Arizona, we also needed to find an additional coaching staff capable of helping those student-athletes achieve the same high levels of success.
"We had meetings with several impressive candidates throughout the summer. These are the coaches that rose to the top. They bring an incredible amount of passion and experience to the team. They not only know their Xs and Os, but they understand the importance of culture and positive energy. Our athletes are going to be in tremendous hands."
Matt Blamey (Head Coach), Ryan Van Wert (Defensive Coordinator) and Hank Bolon (Volunteer Assistant) return to the program.
Joining the Wildcat sideline for the first time are Connor Griffin (Offensive Assistant), Brandon Neff (Faceoff Coordinator), Mike Francois (Strength & Conditioning Coordinator), Drew Leisten (D2 Head Coach), Tommy Atella (D2 Defensive Coordinator) and Josh Garcia (D2 Offensive Coordinator).
